QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Can’t find the answer here? Contact us.
Can I start a free trial of paid plans?
Yes, you can start a free trial of our Paid Plan for 14 days. If you would like a free trial of our Enterprise plan, please contact our sales team.
What are my payment options?
You can be billed monthly, but save 20% if you pay annually. We currently accept credit card payment or SEPA transfer. If you are interested in other payment options, you can reach out to our Sales team here.
What is the difference between members, Guests and visitors?
Members are users that belong to your organization. They have access to your entire workspace and can access public channels. They can have different type of licenses depending on their usage: Basic (free), Starter ($10/month) or Pro ($30/month).
Guests are external and infrequent users who were invited directly to claaps or channels via email, but not to the workspace itself. They can comment on claaps shared with them, but cannot edit them or create their own claaps.
Visitors are external and infrequent users who were invited directly to claaps or channels via share link, but not to the workspace itself. They can access public claaps and channels but can't edit them, add comments, or create their own claaps.
Can I purchase different licenses for different users?
You can purchase different licenses for different users, without the need to have everyone on the same licence.
We offer three types of licenses, each tailored to different needs:
- Basic License: This is our free option, offering essential features at no cost.
- Starter License: For $10/mo you can share quick video updates and get feedback on your work.
- Pro License: Priced at $30/mo, this is our premium option, packed with advanced features like automatic meeting recordings powered by AI.
What happens when my team or I hit my 10 video limit on the Starter plan?
Our free Starter plan has a limit of 10 videos per Creator. To record more than 10 videos, you will need to delete videos or upgrade to a Paid license.
If you want to stay in the same Workspace as your team and upgrade, you can move your entire team to a Team Workspace without paying for everyone. For example, you can choose to have a Pro License with unlimited videos and invite the rest of your team as Basic members.
What are Workspaces and who can I add to my Workspace?
Claap is built for both teams and organisations and so you can organize your workspace in Teams and Channels. You can invite people to your Workspace in your Workspace settings.
With a free workspace, you can create only 1 team and invite up to 20 members to your Workspace. With a paid workspace, you can add an unlimited number of members to your Workspace.
Do I get a refund if I deactivate members from my Workspace?
If a Creator is downgraded, it immediately impacts their permissions and access. And their Creator seat becomes available (and can be assigned to another member of the workspace) for the remainder of the cycle. If it's not taken before the next billing iteration, it will be removed from subscription thus not charged.
