How to Log in to Salesforce

Before You Get Started

To log in to Salesforce, you must have an active account. This applies to all Salesforce customers, free users, or trial users.

If you signed up for a service but don't have an active Salesforce account, you will not be able to log in. Sometimes, Salesforce may not recognize your browser or device, and you might be prompted to confirm your identity with an emailed verification code. If you forget your password, you can reset it from the login page

Make sure to check your spam folder if the reset email doesn’t appear in your inbox and ensure salesforce.com is added to your email allowlist.

Keep in mind that if you have your own custom domain for Salesforce, you must log in through this custom domain. Your login credentials will not work on another URL.

Log in to Salesforce via Web Browser
